The Washington Town & Country Fair is a 5-day fair, beginning every first Wednesday of August each year for the purpose of the betterment of Washington, Missouri, and its trade and farm area.
FAIR BOARD
The Fair Board is a group of volunteers that consists of no less than 22, and no more than 25 members. **It is highly recommended that you have volunteered on a fair board committee for at least two (2) years prior to applying.
Applications, including a photo, should be submitted by August 31 in one of the following ways:

The Junior Fair Board was created in 2013 to train and develop youth in the areas of leadership, community organization, and encourage youth involvement in the civic welfare of Washington, MO and the surrounding geographical area by providing leadership opportunities, by promoting public relation skills, and by facilitating interaction with other committee members. The JFB organizes their own events at the fair and also assists the Senior Fair Board as needed.
Requirements:
Members shall be no less than 8th grade and no more than freshman in college.
Members must not have reached their 20th birthday as of January 1 of the current year.
Members must reside in Franklin or an adjoining county.
