A note from the 2011 Washington Town & Country Fair Chairman . . .
Welcome to "The Best Days of Summer" at the 2011 Washington Town & Country Fair! The Board of Directors and the Chamber of Commerce have teamed up again this year to bring you five days of fun and excitement for the entire family. The fair is operated completely by volunteers and it would be impossible to list all of the individuals and service organizations that work together to bring you this annual event. A big "thank you" to all of those involved! Please visit their booths and stands, as the funds raised at the fair go back in to the community to support our schools, churches and organizations.
The Washington Town and Country Fair is unique in the fact that one ticket price includes all of your entertainment at the event, including concerts by Little Big Town, Collective Soul, Lifehouse, and Joe Nichols. Your pass also admits you to events in the motor sports arena, the livestock shows, Agriland, Safetyland, the entertainment tent featuring local and regional bands, a breathtaking high wire act by the Victoria Circus, and much more. What would a fair be without a great carnival with rides for the children to enjoy as often as they'd like for just their admission price? We have it!
Washington Missouri and the surrounding area is truly a wonderful place to be, as evidenced by the community and volunteer spirit it takes to put on this fine event. We hope that you enjoy yourself and leave feeling that the five days of the Washington Town and Country Fair are truly "The Best Days of Summer"!
