BUBBLE GUM BLOWING CONTEST
Wednesday, August 7, 11:00 a.m.
Family Fun Center  ª  Ages:  4-12
· Entrants will be divided into three age groups.
· Two pieces of bubble gum will be provided for each contestant.  Contestants using any other gum will be disqualified.
· Largest bubble blown wins.
 
DONUT ON A STRING EATING CONTEST
Wednesday, August 7, 1:00 p.m. (must check in by 12:45)
Family Fun Center  ª  Ages:  4-12
· Participants will eat a donut hanging on a string without touching the donut with any body parts.
· First person to eat donut wins.
· Participant is disqualified if donut falls to floor or if participant touches donut.

EDIBLE BUG MAKING CONTEST
Friday, August 9, 1:00 p.m.
South Road  ª  Ages:  All Ages
· Participants will create bugs out of edible food items provided.

EGG DROP CONTEST
Sunday, August 11, 12:00 p.m.
Family Fun Center  ª  Ages:  All Ages
· Contestants will attempt to catch eggs dropped from increasing heights from a fire ladder truck.
· If the egg breaks, the contestant is disqualified.
· Eggs must be caught with bare hands.

​FLOWER ARRANGING 101
Friday, August 9, 9:30 a.m.—11:30 a.m.
Exhibitor Building  ª  All Ages
· Pre-registration required.
· Open to the first 28 entries.
· All entries will be judged for ribbons only, including rosettes for Best of Show and First Runner-Up Winners.

KIDS’ SUPER FARMER CONTEST
Wednesday, August 7, 5:30 p.m.
Hog Show Arena  ª  Ages:  5-14
· Pre-Registration Required—limited to first 10        participants per division, no alternates
· Participants earn points based on how quickly they complete farm-related tasks.  Most total points wins.
· Prizes:  1st—$15 & medal, 2nd—$12 & medal, 3rd—$10 & medal
 
LIVESTOCK JUDGING CONTEST
Sunday, August 11, 1:00 p.m.
Cattle Barn  ª  Ages: 8-18 and 19+
· Teams made up of 4 people.
· Each Team member will do each part of the contest and the scores will be tabulated together giving the team score.
Judging Rules
· There will be 4 classes of animals—Market Steer, Market Hog, Market Lamb, Beef Breeding
· Each Class will include 4 animals
· Officials will rank all 4 animals from the best to the least desirable.
· Contestants will be given a score card to use
· Contestants will get ten minutes at each animal class before rotating
· Each animal will be clearly numbered for identification
· Contestants will not be allowed to communicate with one another
· Infractions of this rule will be cause for elimination or point penalty at judge’s discretion.
· Contestants will not be allowed to handle the livestock.
 · No pre-registration required.
 
ORANGE LEAF FROZEN YOGURT EATING CONTEST
Saturday, August 10, 1:30 p.m. (check-in by 1:15)
Family Fun Center  ª  Ages:  All Ages
· Pre-Registration recommended—limited to first 16 registered per age group.
· First person to complete clean out container is named the winner.  Prizes given to top two participants in each category.

OREO STACKING CONTEST
Saturday, August 10, 10:30 a.m.
Family Fun Center ª  Ages:  12 and under
· Each participant will have 60 seconds to stack as many sandwich cookies in a single stack as they can.
· Cookie stack must stand for at least 10 seconds after time is called.
· Participant with tallest standing stack wins.
· Participants can only use hands to stack.
· Prize given to first place in each age group.

PIE EATING CONTEST
Saturday, August  10, 5:30 P.M.
Entertainment Tent  ª  Ages:  8 and up
· First person to eat one (1) whole pie without using hands wins.

PIG CHASE
Thursday, August 8, 7:00 p.m.—check in at 6:30
Sheep Show Arena  ª  Ages:  5-19
· Pre-Registration Required—contest limited to first 15 contestants registered per age group.
· Pig will be greased with corn oil.  Contestants may get dirty.
· Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

​QUEEN FOR A DAY
Friday, August 9, 11:00 a.m.
Entertainment Tent  ª  Ages:  Girls 2-7
· Children must be accompanied by an adult.
· Activities include story time, cookie decorating, runway walking, and tiara-making.

SAUCY’S HOT WING EATING CONTEST
Saturday, August  10, 5:00 p.m.
Family Fun Center
2 Divisions—Extra Hot / Regular, 8 entries per division
· First person to finish eating the specified amount of wings in the time allotted will win. 
· Participants must check in by 4:45 or space will be given to another participant.

STICK HORSE RODEO
Sunday, August 11, 5:00 p.m.
Agriland  ª  Ages:  3-8
· Stick horse will be provided.
· Children are encouraged to wear cowboy/cowgirl attire—Best dressed cowboy and cowgirl will win a prize!
· There will be different rodeo “events” to perform.  Eg:  racing around poles, capturing a flag, roping a fake calf, etc.  All while done while “riding” on a stick horse
· Judges decisions are final.
· You must sign in at event BEFORE event starts.  Late arrivals will not be accepted. ​

SPAGHETTI STRUCTURE BUILDING CONTEST
Thursday, August 8, 3:00 p.m.
Family Fun Center ª All Ages
· Teams will consist of 2-4 members.
· Building materials (spaghetti, marshmallows, tape) will be provided.
· Structure will be judges on height, width, and originality.
· Structure must remain standing during judging.
· Prizes award to top two teams.
 
TURTLE RACE
Saturday, August 10, 3:00 p.m.
Family Fun Center  ª  Ages:  3-10
· Turtles entered must be tortoise (hard shell, box turtle) land species variety.  No snapping or soft-shell turtles.
Turtles will be placed in center of 10’ circle.  First turtle to have ENTIRE body outside of circle wins
 
WASHER TOURNAMENT
Saturday, August 10, 11:00 a.m.
Swine Pavilion  ª  21 years or older
· Pre-registration required.
· Open to the first 24 entries.
· $30 entry fee
· Complete rules on entry form

BUCKET OF JUNK
Friday, August 9, 9:30 a.m.—11:30 a.m.
Displayed in Exhibitor Building
· Must complete registration and pick up bucket at Chamber Office.

· Limited to first 25 couples.
· Pre-Registration recommended.
· Teams (made of 1 male, 1 female) earn points based on how quickly they complete a variety of farm-related tasks.  Most total points wins.
· Prize:  1st—$75, 2nd—$60, 3rd—$45
