The Washington Town & Country Fair is proud to welcome the 9-11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit to this year’s fair, August 2-6. The exhibit is a high-tech, 53-foot tractor- trailer, which unfolds into a 1,000 square foot exhibit. It serves as a poignant reminder of that tragic day. It includes artifacts such as steel beams from the towers, documentary videos, recordings of first responder radio transmissions and live tours by FDNY firefighters.
The exhibit will be escorted into Washington on Tuesday, August 1st at 10:30 a.m. Local Fire, Police, and EMS crews will be participating in the procession, as well as 100+ Freedom Riders. The exhibit will enter Washington on MO-100 at approximately 10:30 a.m. after being joined by the escort team at N-Sports. Fair Chairman Joe Maniaci encourages all who are able to stand along the route with flags and patriotic clothing to welcome the exhibit to Washington. Exhibit Route to Fairgrounds: Entering town on MO-100 from N-Sports. MO-100 to Fifth Street. Fifth to High Street. High to Front. Front onto Tiemann, entering the fairgrounds through the South Gate. Located between the Midway and the Food Court, the Family Fun Center has become a can’t-miss attraction at the Fair. With stage shows, interactive exhibits, contests, and a free-play area, there is always something fun to do under the FFC pavilion! It also features bonus activities, like “Harry the Cat’s Messy Play Zone” (Saturday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.), and Inflatables (Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday afternoons) in the grassy area next-door. Benefits of Online Tickets
DISCOUNTS Check out our Facebook or Instagram pages to find promotion codes! We have discounts for daily and season tickets, and don't forget about the Family 4-Pack specials in March & April! The Queen Contestant promo codes will also provide a discount this year, so you can save money while supporting your favorite contestant. LOST TICKET INSURANCE Tickets purchased online can be canceled and re-issued in the event of loss or theft. No more stressing over that ticket that fell out of your pocket (or your child's) up on the Midway! Better still, no stressing after you print your tickets and then forget where you put them. Just re-open the e-mail and print them again. Lost or deleted the e-mail? See the FAQ below for help. CONVENIENCE That phone that you carry everywhere... did you know it could hold your ticket? Purchase tickets when it is convenient for you from the comfort of your home. Print them as needed, or text the images to family members so they don't get mixed up! Frequently Asked Questions HOW DO I GET MY TICKET? An e-mail confirmation will be automatically sent from our ticketing partner, e-tix. The e-mail will include a link to view/print your tickets. DO I HAVE TO PRINT MY TICKET? Nope! Mobile tickets can be scanned at the gates, right from your phone! If you open the "View My Tickets" link on a mobile device, the mobile version of the ticket comes up. It also gives you the option to save the ticket right on your homescreen! Important: Tickets cannot be printed from a mobile device, as the layout has been optimized for presentation on a phone. If you want printed tickets, please open the link on a desktop or laptop computer and print from there. WHAT IF I LOST MY E-MAIL OR DIDN'T RECEIVE IT? No problem! First, check your junk mail just in case. If you still cannot locate your ticket e-mail, just call the Fair Office (636-239-2715) and the confirmation e-mail can be re-sent to you. Important: We cannot change the e-mail address the ticket is sent to, so make sure the address you give at check-out is one that you will have access to all summer! I SAW DISCOUNTED TICKETS OFFERED AT AN ONLINE SWAP SHOP... IS IT VALID? We do not recommend purchasing tickets from places other than our authorized ticket outlets (washmofair.com, e-tix.com, Bank of Washington, Fas-Trip). If an unauthorized seller sold a ticket to multiple people, the ticket may be listed as "redeemed" when you arrive at the fair. Since tickets will scan only once at the gate, people who arrive at the gate with a ticket that has already been redeemed will have to purchase a valid ticket from the gatehouse before entering the fair.
